4.43Mb (9896 downloads)
FS2004 Piper PA23 Apache Package. The origins of the PA-23 Apache 150 (one of the first widely available GA twins and Piper's first "Indian") lie in the early postwar Twin Stinson design. This rugged easy to fly twin survives today and has been used over the years to train many pilots in multi engined aircraft. To honor the tradition of small farm strips scattered throughout our country we present your own dairy farm set in 1950s Minnesota! There is a sloping dirt strip complete with mud puddle so you can splash water on your take offs, if like most of us you're still a kid at heart.;o) The winters in Minnesota are not for the feint of heart and the included flights will give you a chance to experience them first hand! The scenery setting is close to Lake Superior where your float version of the Apache is based. You can brave the cold November winds to rescue a stranded ferry or take a leisurely flight around the lake to see the Fall colors! By Lynn and Bill Lyons. 4.5MB

5.96Mb (6715 downloads)
FS2004 Luscombe Model 8A Package. The Luscombe Model 8 was one of those classics in aviation that was recognized for its nice lines, good performance, and excellent flying characteristics from its inception 1n 1938. A two-place side-by-side airplane, the Model 8A was re-marketed shortly after World War II with the intention of fulfilling the “airplane-in-every-garage” ideal. Most of these 100 mph cruise speedsters were powered by Continental four-cylinder 65 hp engines . The best overall description of this particular Luscombe creation was simple: it was a “thoroughbred”! The Model 8A represented the next step in Don Luscombe’s pioneering work in all-metal aircraft design. In the early years of company history, he had little competition in that category, but the widespread production of all-metal military aircraft during World War II propelled several of Luscombe’s competitors directly into this market. Eventually the proliferation of these types drove Luscombe in bankruptcy. Today it remains popular as a classic aircraft. By Lynn and Bill Lyons. 6.1MB

FS2004 Viscount 708 Guernsey Airlines (Alidair livery) Textures only. Guernsey Airlines was a wholly owned subsidury of Alidair and operated a single Viscount 735 (G-BFYZ), one of two purchased from Iraqi Airways. There was considerable interworking of the whole fleet which saw Alidair aircraft on Guernsey services and the Guernsey machine appearing throughout the network. It was on an Alidair flight that 'FYZ was written off. It was replaced by G-BDRC but in the meantime G-ARIR became the token aircraft flying still in Alidair livery but with Guernsey titles and smal crests behind the doors. FS2004 Piper PA22 Tri-Pacer Package.
11.60Mb (11876 downloads)
FS2004 Piper PA-22 Tri-Pacer Package. The Tri-Pacer is a remarkable aircraft with performance that matches or exceeds that of its contemporary all metal Cessna 172. It is a full seven feet shorter in length then a 172 and takes off in a shorter distance with a higher cruise speed. The Tri-Pacer wins over its pilots with its performance and it is a delight to fly an aircraft that can get airborne fully loaded in 1,220 feet and land over a 50 foot barrier in 1,280 feet. It stalls at 48 mph and best rate of climb is at 84 mph when it can get 620 feet per minute. At 7,000 and 75% power it will true out at 132 mph and its service ceiling is 15,000. Today it remains popular as a classic aircraft. By Lynn and Bill Lyons. 11.9MB
