Alphasim FS2004/FSX Late Mk.IX textures only. It is the mid-70s and after years of absence, there is a Spitfire that is about to take to the skies in South Africa. This came about due to the acquisition and the funded restoration project led by Larry Barnett. Evelyn as she was affectionately known was named after Barnetts wife. Her first flight after restoration (and others) was undertaken by Lieutenant General R.H.D. "Bob" Rogers, the then most highly living decorated pilot of the South African Air Force, whose career started in WW2 flying clipped-wing Spitfires in Italy from 1944 on wards under the colors of 40 Squadron, the exact badge which appears on Evelyn. He then went on to serve in Korea where he flew P-51D Mustangs and F-86 Sabres. Sadly one day in 1984 while landing after her display flight at our Margate air show, the then pilot (Not Rogers) whose name is not known, applied too much breaking power causing substantial damage to Evelyn. She never flew in South Africa again and was believed to have been sold to the US. Local simmers. Textures by A. Ludick.

This is a fix for the Caproni Campini, which displays the fuselage interior correctly in FSX when pressing the spoiler key. Fix by the IS4G Group, designer of the original model. Uploaded on behalf of IS4G Group by Michael Pook.

The Caproni Campini N.1, also known as the C.C.2, was an experimental aircraft built by the Italian aircraft manufacturer Caproni. The N.1 was powered by a motorjet, a type of jet engine that powers the compressor using a conventional aircraft engine. The N.1 first flew in 1940, and as news of the Heinkel He 178's flight in 1939 had not yet been made public, the FAI listed the N.1 as the first successful jet-powered aircraft".(Wikipedia) This is an update of the Campini, originally designed for FS2004 by Corrado La Posta and converted for FSX by Eric Hertzberger. The package features both an entirely reworked and enhanced VC and 2D panel with Italian gauges for the most part. It also now includes smoke effect and corrected lights. Thanks to Corrado La Posta for the original model, to Manuele Villa for his great Italian gauges and to Erik Hertzberger for the FSX conversion. This is an update for FSX of the Spitfire_22 by A.F.Scrub. I have updated the flight dynamics; changed and/or added/repositioned some gauges; and added the sound file from the Spitfire 18.

FSX Dornier Do-17z Upgrade. The new build WWII warbird has a complete virtual cockpit with crew and FSX-compatible gauges. Eleven cameras and weapon effects are configured. The model is made by Chris Lampard, the 2D panel is made by Lobo, the virtual cockpit with crew by Mark Shelley and FSX-configuration by Erwin Welker

FS2004/FSX Spitfire Mk22 One of the last variants of the original Spitfire, the Mk 22 had an increased fuel capacity over its predecessors, with two fuel tanks of 33 gal (150 l) each installed in the rear fuselage. There were also zero-point fittings for rocket projectiles under the wings. Most had the larger "Spiteful" tail units: modifications were also made to the trim tab gearings in order to perfect the F Mk 22's handling characteristics. The F Mk 22 achieved a maximum speed of 454 mph (731 km/h), and could reach an altitude of 30,000 ft (9,100 m) in eight minutes, putting it on a par with the most advanced piston-engined fighters of the era.
