FS2004/2002/CFS2 Seafire Mk 17 Package: This version Mk.17 was powered by a 1850hp Rolls Royce Griffon VI engine giving it a maximum speed of 383 mph at 13,500 ft. It was armed with two Hispano 20mm cannons, four 0.303 in Browning MGs and up to eight rockets or 500 lb of bombs mounted beneath the fuselage and wings. This late production Seafire variant had a distinctive look, and impressive performance. To late for wartime service, it served till 1954 with the Naval Reserve Units. Original GMAX source included. CFS2 Douglas Boston Mk.III The first of the A-20 series produced from the start to British specifications, the Boston Mk.III entered service in the Spring of 1941 and became the first of the series to operate in its intended light bomber role. The Boston fought in every theater of the war and its combination of performance, excellent handling and armament made it one of the most popular and effective light bombers of the war. CFS2 B5N2 Type97 Model 12 Attack Bomber. The B5N2 was given a much more powerful engine, and various modifications were made to streamline it over the earlier B5N1. Although its performance was only marginally better, and its weaknesses remained unremedied, this version replaced the B5N1 in production and service from 1939. It was this version that would be used by the Navy in the attack on Pearl Harbor. Model file, weapons, DP, and base textures by Thicko. CFS2,FS2000/FS2002/Fs2004 Spitful: The Supermarine Spiteful was a direct development of the Spitfire using a new laminar flow wing which was hoped to offer better high speed performance.Spiteful RB518, was modified to Mark 16 configuration and fitted with a Griffon 101 engine . During a test in 1947 this aircraft attained 494 m.p.h. at 27,500ft. This was the greatest speed recorded by a British piston-engined aircraft in level flight, and has never been exceeded since.Model for CFS2/FS2000/2002/2004 with new airfile, Dp, effects and textures by A.F.Scrub. 6.1MB
