MAAM-SIM DC-3 Amphibian Folsom's Air Service
This texture set in Folsom's Air Service livery requires both
a previous installation of the MAAM-SIM R4D-6/DC3A package available
from Mid-Atlantic Air Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org
and the free, add-on XC-47C aircraft that complements that package
(maamxc47.zip). This aircraft was originally construction number
(c/n) 11761 and was delivered to the USAAF as 41-68834 in July
of 1943. A DC-3A/C-53D-DO, she flew for Eastern Airlines as
NC86562 until 1952. She was converted to a float plane by Dick
Folsom of Greenville, Maine, USA in 1976. Until her floats were
removed recently, she was the only remaining example of a DC-3
on floats in the world. File name: MAAMAFAS.ZIP By: Mark Beaumont

MAAM-SIM DC-3 Amphibian DC-3 Airways classic and 1940's liveries
This freeware download includes official repaints, in two variations,
for the virtual airline 'DC-3 Airways', intended primarily for
use by 'DC-3 Airways' pilots. If you are not already a member,
check out 'DC-3 Airways' at www.dc3airways.com. Both texture
sets require both a previous installation of the MAAM-SIM R4D-6/DC3A
package available from Mid-Atlantic Air Simulations (MAAM-SIM)
at www.maam.org
and the free, add-on XC-47C aircraft that complements that package
(maamxc47.zip), which is available from all major flight simulation

MAAM-SIM DC-3 Amphibian Water Rudder Gauge for 'IFR' panel
This gauge is useful only to those who have three other downloads:
a previous installation of the MAAM-SIM R4D-6/DC3A package available
from Mid-Atlantic Air Simulations (MAAM-SIM) at www.maam.org;
the free, add-on XC-47C aircraft that complements that package
(maamxc47.zip); and Mark Beaumont's 'IFR' panel for the MAAM-SIM
aircraft (DCAMAAM4.ZIP). This adds a functional water rudders
lever to the main, IFR view and VC modes, negating the necessity
to use key strokes and indicating status of the rudders. This
is an unofficial addition and is not configured to fit the default
MAAM-SIM DC-3 panel as aliased by the XC-47C. Installation instructions
are included. By Mark Beaumont, Dave Bitzer. 343K

Douglas DC-3 'DC-3 Airways' classic and 1940's MAAM-SIM alternative
bitmaps Key
replacement textures for the Passenger and Cargo versions of
'DC-3 Airways' liveries found in DCAMAAMP.ZIP and DCAMAAMF.ZIP
respectively. Also requires the base model of the GMAX MAAM-SIM
DC-3A available from www.maam.org. Saved in DXT3 format without
mipmaps, these textures are designed to replace the original
32-bit images for users seeking to maximise texture refresh
rate or who operate slower computers. Image quality, although
reduced, remains excellent on most systems. By Mark Beaumont.

MAAM-SIM DC-3 Fuel Tank Selection and Autolean Modification
This gauge is applicable only to the FS2004 MAAM-SIM DC-3 (available
from Mid Atlantic Air Museum Simulations at www.maam.org)
or other planes using the MAAM-SIM DC-3 AIRCRAFT.CFG and MaamSim_DC3.air
flight dynamics files, such as the Mark Beaumont 'IFR' Panel
modification for the MAAM-SIM DC-3 (DCAMAAM4.zip, DCAMAAM5.zip).
It is not calibrated for use with the stock DC-3, or the MAAM-SIM
R4D flight dynamics files, or other third party aircraft. Likewise,
it is not recommended for use with the MAAM-SIM DC-3 in FS2002.
The purpose of this gauge is to disable FS2004's default characteristic
of setting the fuel flow to the engines from "all" tanks setting,
and to simulate the correct auto-rich and auto-lean settings
on the mixture controls as desired. By Dave Bitzer and Mark
Beaumont. 102K
