FS2004 'Memphis Mountain airport'. A program error in FS9 placed a mountain southwest of Memphis TN where one does not actually exist. I put a runway atop the fictitious mountain just because it's there. Built in AFCAD by R.E. Wyman. 77K
FS2004 Borstel airport EDOV near Stendal in Sachsen Anhalt Germany. Originally a WWII paratroops base, later base of soviet jetfighters and helicopters, but now in civilian use. By Thomas Erthner. 1.5MB

FS2004 Nellis AFB scenery Package. The 49 static aircraft included may cause lower-spec PCs to struggle when flying in their vicinity. You can either turn down the 'Scenery Complexity' setting to a lower setting, such as 'normal', or there is an alternative file available which halves the amount of static aircraft. It is to be found in a subfolder called 'Nellis Minimum Stats' in the Addon Scenery\Nellis AFB\Scenery folder.By Mike Dews for ALPHA Simulations. 3.5MB

FS2004 'Ice Station Alpha' Antarctic Bases set scenery. Set scenery density to at least 'normal' to get static aircraft to appear. With scenery at 'very dense' you might be able to find an 'Easter Egg' ....To find the scenery in your list, search for 'ice'. By Mike Dews for ALPHA Simulations. 504K

FS2004 RAF Chivenor , UK. RAF chivenor is situated 4.5 miles west of Barnstaple, N.Devon, England. The station opened in 1935 as a civil field. In 1940 it was aquired by the WD and was used by Coastal Command during WW2 and after. In 1980 63 Squadron No. 2 TWU with the Hawk T Mk 1a moved to Chivenor. Towards the end of 1991 No. 2 TWU Hawks were repainted black before moving to RAF Valley. Fixed wing flying ceased at Chivenor in 1994. By Mike Dews for Alpha Simulations. 2.7MB

FS2004 RAF/USAF Fairford AFB , UK. Because of the complexity of the various static aircraft, they may reduce the frame rates to an unacceptable level on all but the fastest of systems. If this should occur on your system simply 'Delete' the appropriate static aircraft bgl file from the RAF Fairford\Scenery folder. Also if you wish to add AI aircraft delete the file as static aircraft may prevent your AI aircraft from moving. By Mike Dews for Alpha Simulations. 3.1MB

FS2004 Bell Helicopters' Auxillary practice runway located in Hurst, Texas (No longer exists). I have taken a few liberties and modified it a bit to make it a regular helicopter airport. It can also accomodate STOL aircraft (cessna's, ultralites, etc.). The only thing I have not been able to get rid of are a few trees and brush but it adds to the antiquity of the airport. 3K

FS2004 WW1 'Western Front' Scenery. World War 1 Scenery of the Western front, Europe. Includes AI aircraft. By Mike Dews and Bob Baum for ALPHASIM. 4.4MB

FS2004 Tonopah Test Range scenery. Tonopah Test Range, also known as Area 52, is a military installation located about 30 miles southeast of Tonopah, Nevada. It is part of the northern fringe of the Nellis Range and is inaccessible to the public. The hangars and tower in this scenery are modelled closely on the prototype but are not intended to be architectural replicas. The remaining buildings are types which can be found on many US military airfields but not necessarily at TTR. In the interest of " flyability " some features have been ommitted.By Mike Dews for ALPHA SIMULATIONS. 2.5MB

FS2004 RAF St Mawgan scenery. RAF St Mawgan circ. 1978(ish). The scenery represents St Mawgan as it was around 1978 when 42 Sqn were resident with their Nimrods and myself and family took our first holiday at Trevarrian. A little license has had to be used as photos and info about the base are virtually non-existent ( due to the US presence no doubt), much came from my own photos. For instance the Air Ambulance probably came a little later but I like it and the Nimrod hangar is where I think it is but may not be exact. Most of the buildings are MoD type but not necessarily to be found at St Mawgan.By Mike Dews for ALPHA SIMULATIONS. 3.9MB
