Aircraft/ Helicopter, 206B moving parts model

File name : b206mp available on helicopters page 8

External View: Typical Ian Standfast, outstanding from any angle. Ian
has a wonderful way with "civil liveries". They look exactly as you would
find them at your local Bell dealer! This particular model uniquely
aged with exhaust smudges. Note the detail suah as the engine cover latches, and the gas filler
cap. Outstanding! The MP rotors on the other hand are only fair, I
attribute this to the difficulty with using the "Moving Parts" program,
rather than a reflection on Peter Dasso's abilities.

Manual Takeoff: Very well mannered. Slight yaw to the left,
easily controlled. Lift off will occur at 70-75% power, hover momentarily,
lower nose and gain speed. You're off!
Climbout is a non-event. While in FS you can show a 4000 ft/min climb
1500-2000 Ft/min is realistic.
Cruise: Same good manners, light but constant anti-torque pressure
on rudder pedals or joystick twist grip.
Descent: Your choice of descent to landing, vertical, swoop, or horizontal
pick your spot, reduce power and head for it. No handling problems
as a result of power manipulation.
Landing: On a horizontal approach at 1500 ft(AGL), 2 mi out, reduce
power to 60%. Establish a 300-500 ft/min rate of descent, gradually
reduce airspeed with attitude and torque. This configuration sets up an easy landing.
With practice of course
Notes: A very good copter for the novice. Outstanding Visual and flight model.
As mentioned this copter is not available at Keith's Heli-pad. Ian Standfast is re-doing
all of his copters with moving parts. And Keith will only accept re-makes
of Ian's copters from Ian.
