FSX Douglas O-43 Package

The O-43 was one of many observation planes designed by Douglas for the USAAC. It entered service in 1934 and carried on until WW2 . It had a parasol wing rather than the gull wing of earlier Douglas designs. This is a native FSX Acceleration project. It has the usual animations and .dds textures. I have included a sound file for a V-12 in line engine by "Lawdog" which is as close as I could find for a Curtiss Conqueror engine. The VC is based on a actual photo and includes working gauges and animated flight controls. The gauges feature emissive back lights for night flying. There is no 2D panel. By Paul Clawson

A contemporary of the much superior Hawker Hurricane and Messerschmitt Bf 109, it was one of the first of a new generation of combat aircraft—a sleek monoplane design making extensive use of metal in its construction and powered by a powerful radial engine. FS2004/FSX Junkers Ju-87 Stuka

FS2004/FSX Junkers Ju-87 Stuka. A remake of a previously uploaded Stuka (by Italo D'Attomo). This is now a new full package (aircraft and panel). The Stuka (Sturzkampfflugzeug) was a two-seat, pilot and rear gunner, German ground-attack aircraft with inverted gull wings. The Stuka was used during the Blitzkrieg and with its fame behind was exported to Bulgaria, Hungary, Rumania and (159 airplanes) in Italy, where it was dubbed "Picchiatello", a pun meaning at the same time "diver" and "knocked in his head". It served from Norway (sometimes with skis instead of wheels) to Libya (hot weather version B-2/Trop). This model features highly reflective metallic skin and full animations. Three textures are provided, one Italian and two German. The panel is the same made by Italo D'Attomo with a few minor changes. Included also is a virtual cockpit, with working essential flight instruments and animated flight controls, plus camera views (FSX only). By Capt. G. Quai.

Junkers JU52 IWC HB-HOS Package

This aircraft is simply a revision of my FS2004 Passenger In The Cabin Project but is provided in standard VC mode for FSX with the option to convert to PICR operation. Original aircraft from the Junkers JU52 Factory Managing Director: Pierino Primavesi. Aircraft was "First Round The World". In FSX some period gauges used previously did not work so there have been replacements fitted. An inspection of photographs of the real aircraft seemed to indicated the altitude and VSI gauges are imperial in the modern aircraft update. The aircraft has also flown around the world again in IWC paint. The FSX version is tuned to climb and fly safely at 12500 feet and because it is based on a PIC version, has full autopilot control including speed and Nav hold. The aircraft can also be setup to drop Swiss Paratroopers or Parafoils. The FS2004 sim version on which this FSX project is based used the model Ju-Air JU52 HB-HOT and textures version 6 by Pierino Primavesi.
