FSX Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing
53.01Mb (1924 downloads)
This is an FSX update for the FS2004 Beechcraft D17 Staggerwing by the Simtech Team including the wheels and the float version. As the original FS2004 version displayed major graphic issues in FSX and the float version wasn't flyable at all due to incompatible contact points I've decided to make this wonderful aircraft available for FSX users also. The package also includes both a reworked VC and a new 2D panel with animated yokes and new gauges for the most part. Exhaust smoke included as well. Thanks to Simtech for the original model and for the FS2002 2D panel design by Mariano Pedro Bernacki, which perfectly matches the VC. All graphic and panel updates as well as smoke configuration by Michael Pook. The model may work in P3D,version3 also.

FSX/P3Dv3,v4 North American P-51D Mustang The P-51D Mustang remains to this day the most widely recognized and deeply revered propeller driven fighter aircraft ever built. Originally designed for the RAF and equipped with an Allison engine, the Mustang was later fitted with the Packard-Merlin, which provided superior high altitude performance. With long range tanks, the Mustang could escort bombers to Berlin and still have time to fight. FSX/P3D native mdl by A.F.Scrub

22.13Mb (1219 downloads)
FSX/P3Dv3,v4 Vought Corsair Early F4U-2 The Corsair entered service in 1942. Although designed as a carrier fighter, initial operation from carrier decks proved to be troublesome. Its low-speed handling was tricky. Landing a Corsair on a carrier was a difficult task. For these reasons, most Corsairs initially went to Marine Corps squadrons which operated off land-based runways. The U.S. Navy did not get into combat with the type until September 1943. Standard and Nightfighter version included. Native FSX/P3Dv3,v4 mdl by A.F.Scrub.

FSX/P3D Blackburn Beverley V1A Package
FSX/P3D Blackburn Beverley V1A Package
128.44Mb (4417 downloads)
FSX/P3D Blackburn Beverley V1A Package. The Blackburn Beverley was a four-engined, medium-range high-capacity transport. Its first flight took place in June 1953 and a total of forty-seven aircraft were built. The Beverley had an outstanding ability for packing and dropping heavy loads of up to 22 tons and, aided by powerful propeller reversing and a sturdy fixed undercarriage, it was able to land and take off at small and makeshift airstrips. Employed on a wide variety of military and humanitarian missions, for the ten years of its active service it was the R.A.F.'s proverbial no-nonsense workhorse. To date, only the first production Beverley survives as a museum piece. The model comes with an ILS and GCA- capable VC, variable intensity cockpit lighting, and propeller reversing. Two textures are included, XB261 representing a fictional reincarnation of the third production aircraft, and XM109 as painted in the 'Middle East' camouflage scheme of the final batch. Models and textures by Manfred Jahn, flight dynamics by Wayne Tudor, and soundset by Ted Wolfgang.
