Extract all the files into your FSX root folder. The necessary sub-folders will be created automatically.

The afterburner effect is automatic, as is the smoke.

The F-107A was NAA's reply to a requirement for a very high-perfomance nuclear strike aircraft.
Perceived as related to the Super Sabre, the aircraft has a closer kinship to the Vigilante-Rapier lineage
in terms of aerodynamics and systems. A political accomidation saw the rival F-105 awarded the contract, though the
F-107 was judged to be the superior aircraft from an operational perspective.
This decision caused the AF much grief, and incurred great expense as Republic and the AF struggled
to bring the F-105 to an acceptable service state, only succeding years later. In many ways,
the F-105's design, mission and troubles mirror those of the F-35, even down to points like T/W ratio,
fuel fraction, a single-point nuclear strike design struggling with every other mission in creation
being larded on as an afterthought. The difference being, the F-105 wasn't 50% bolognium by weight; the lesson
being: Lockheed(outside of the old skunk-works) has a history of gold-plated, ego-stroking designs that 
'succeed' through bribery, threats, coertion, bullshit, blarney, graft and the smoke filled room.
You buy from Lockheed because Lockheed is buying a lot of generals cars and houses, and making a
lot of 'campaign contributions'. Just look at the record.

This one sat for a while, as the flight spoiler animation seemed wonky, not working right.
On checking the FS9 model in sim, the flight spoiler animation is as delivered.
It's either an FSX thing, or the animation sequencing wasn't what was hoped for at
the factory. I can live with that.

Why that way? I may want the arresting hook and wing fold for other things, and I dislike banging the canopy open
fifteen times in flight to get shift e2 to cycle-cure: flight opening stuff on doors go to the top of the list,
canopy last, unless there is a compelling reasson not to.
Conversion to X, repaints Y.T. The mapping is mirrored and old-skool, not terribly re-paint friendly, 
so, it is what it is and, I am not a particularly proficiant painter. 


Otherwise, its BoB Chilco's fsx cfg and panel from the port over, with some adjustments...
