Douglas Cargomaster C.Mk1 Royal Air Force. For Tim Conrads C-133B for FS 2002/ FS9. Though never operated by the Royal Air Force, nor are there any records of interest, a cast metal model of a C-133B in RAF markings was found, in all places, in an antique shop in Perth, Australia, by Walter Civitico,of Sidney. John Voss, who worked at Douglas Long Beach reports that a deligation of RAF officers toured a C-133B at Long Beach in 1959. No records exsist of any official interest by the RAF in the C-133. A possible explanation might be that the Douglas offered the C-133B to the RAF to transport the Douglas Thor Intermediate range ballistic missile in RAF service at that time, or to support British Missile and Nuclear testing being conducted in Woomera, Australia. The livery is derived from that worn by contemporary RAF Transport Command aircraft. The serials are spurious. The RAF named individual transport aircraft after stars (eg-Canopus) classical mythologic figues (Heracles) or heros (Sparticus, VC honorees). Anethelnoth was Godiva's horse. To install. Unzip the texture.RAF file and drop into the C-133B folder. open the aircraft config file with notepad. Copy and paste the entry below after the last [FLTSIM.xx] in your config file and renumber[FLITSIM.xx] in sequence. The texture is repainted from the original with FS repaint. Though rather elderly now, Piglets C-133 is astonishingly nice, with a full interior, and a gourgeous VC flightdeck. The weenie wagon is fantastic aeroplane for that long grind from Brize Norton to Aden, or Woomera. Enjoy. And thank you for all the great aeroplanes, Tim!
