Elevator trim neutral to 0.8 degrees up
Cowl flaps stage 2

Takeoff and initial climb
=========================

Full throttle (61 in hg) and RPM (2900)
Rotate gently and take off at approx. 112 kts
Retract landing gear
Climb to 500 ft agl and 130 kts. Flaps stage 1.
Reduce to 50 inches MAP and 2400 RPM. 
Retract flaps at 140 kts
Let the aircraft accelerate to 160 KIAS.

En route climb
==============

43" MAP, 2400 RPM
Airspeed approx 160 KIAS.
Cowl flaps stage 1

Cruise
======

Fast cruise 35" MAP, 2200 RPM
Economical cruise at lower weight 30" MAP, 2100 RPM
Cowl flaps closed

Descent 
=======

Cowl flaps: Cracked. 
Vertical speed -800 to -1200 fpm. 
RPM 2200.
Reduce boost gradually to 20 in MAP.

Approach and landing:
=====================

Reduce speed to 150 kts. 1 stage of flaps.
Entering glideslope: Extend landing gear, reduce to 120 kts, flaps stage 2
1700 ft above runway: Reduce to 110 kts, flaps stage 3
1000 ft above runway: Flaps stage 4 (full flaps). 
Final approach at 100 kts, touchdown at 80-90 kts
