Jon Murchison's BAe 146-300 Jet2 - Operated by FlightLine (G-FLTC) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2004 ACOF Author: Jeffrey S. Bryner email: jeffreybryner@hotmail.com ------------- Background ------------- Jet2 (aka Jet2.com) is a low-cost airline based in Leeds, England serving domestic and other European destinations. It was established in 2002 and began operations in 2003. Jet2.com operates hubs at Manchester, Belfast International, Blackpool International, Edinburgh and Newcastle Airport. Jet2.com operates a fleet of primarily Boeing aircraft. However, this BAe146-300 bearing registration G-FLTC, is the sole BAe wearing the Jet2.com colors though it is operated by FlightLine for Jet2.com under a branded wet lease agreement. I paid attention to detail and realism as much as possible and generated this repaint with sharply painted details. The fuselage, tail, engine and wing textures in this repaint are 32-bit. ---------------------------- Installation Instructions: ---------------------------- This is a complete install. The panel and sound are from the default 737-400, but if you read below, I have some recommendations for a BAe 146 panel and soundset. Unzip this package directly into your Aircraft folder. It will create a folder there named \BAE1463_EXS_G-FLTC. When you start FS, look for the aircraft under the Manufacturer British Aerospace and the type of 146-300 and the variation named Jet2.com (Operated by FlightLine). ------------------------- Other Enhancements: ------------------------- I suggest that if you want an "as real as it gets" experience in your Bae 145-300 download and install the following: ------- Panel: ------- The Bae-146 panel V4.1 by the Bae Panel Project (Matthias Lieberecht) is an outstanding and detailed freeware panel. It's not a 'jump in an fly' panel, however. You will need to follow these links to download the files at AVSIM.COM: http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004pan&DLID=71633 http://library.avsim.net/esearch.php?CatID=fs2004pan&DLID=72558 --------- Sounds: --------- If you use the panel by the Bae Panel Project (Matthias Lieberecht) mentioned above, it includes an excellent soundset. --------- Credits: --------- - First and foremost, John Murchison for the exceptional BAe 146-300 model and their paintkit, - Martin Wright for the indispensable DXTBMP utility program, - Danny Fritsche for his detailed window textures, - All the countless other people like you who make this hobby one of the most enjoyable I know! ----------- Licensing: ----------- This is freeware with the following restrictions. - You may not upload this to any other website without my expressed written permission, - You may not sell this package in its entirely or its constituent elements, - If you do get my permission to use this, you are obligated to post written credit to me and all of the individuals and organizations mentioned in the section "Credits" above. - If you downloaded this package from a site other than AVSIM.COM, Flightsim.com, Simviation.com or Surclaro.com you are in direct violation of this license agreement.
