The solution to overcome above mis-feature can be as follows:

01. Land with about 178 knots or less (ca. 175) and keep the AutPilot on.
02. Check that all aircraft controls are in neutral position,
except for flaps and landing-gear :)
03. Just before touchdown disable Speed settings from the AutPilot.
04. Just before touchdown set throttle nearly to idle ('F2').
05. Immediately after touchdown disable the AutPilot and optionally use
Airbrake control ('/') to help the F-15 slow down.
06. Gently use the toe brakes, push them in a pumping way so
don't push them all the time during the slowdown process.
07. During the slow down process set flaps neutral ('F5') and when the speed has reduced
then set the airbrake control ('/') to idle, thus retract the control.
08. Gently use the steerig wheel controls (Numpad 'INSERT' and Numpad 'ENTER')
09. Remove in the meanwhile the Approach setting from the AutoPilot settings.
10. When the Hornet has a speed about 20 knots then use
Auto Speed setting for taxiing speed.
