INSTALLATION GUIDE - Avro Vulcan B.2 for FS2002 / FS2004

Extract all the files into your FS2002 or FS2004 root folder. The necessary sub-folders will be created automatically.

1) Note on DOOR ANIMATIONS : The model has 2 seperate door animations, some keypresses may need to be set up in the Controller Assignments section under 'Settings'.

Crew Door (and ladder) : shift-E

Bomb Bay doors : these use the Concorde visor keypress so that they can be opened in flight seperately from the other doors. This keypress is not normally assigned in the FS2002 default setup. To assign it you need to go to the Controller Assignments section under 'Settings'. The model Zipfile inlcudes a useful EXAMPLE SCREENSHOT which shows the screen you need. We recommend assigning the C and V keys for open and close respectively, although there are others you can use if you prefer.

2) Note on LANDING LIGHTS - Landing lights are animated on the TAILHOOK function. As with the bomb bay doors, the keypress for this is not normally assigned in FS2002 so you may need to do it manually. As with the Bomb Bay doors above, go to 'Controller Assignments' and find the entry for 'Tailhook extend/retract' and set this to the t key. If you do not assign a keypress for the tailhook function the lights will merely create a pool of light on the ground under the wings.

3) Note on SMOKE EFFECTS : Pressing the i-key once moving will cause some grey exhaust smoke to be displayed.
