DESCRIPTION:

FSX Beech D18S repaint textures for the Shupe/Thomas/Folkers
Beech D18S, modified for FSX SP2/ACC by Dave Carroll,
which you must have previously installed in FSX.
An excercise in the exploration of early corporate
aviation, these three "real fictional" Beech 18
repaints strive to celebrate three of society's most
treasured institutions... alcohol, tobacco, and firearms.
Also includes an FSX compatible engine smoke effect,
for those tired old P&W Wasp Juniors. AND A BONUS AS WELL...
a repainted cabin interior "shared texture folder" which
replaces the original very blue interior
textures with a new earth tone tan interior,
which will better compliment the exterior paints
on ALL of your Beech 18's, no matter which exterior
colors/liveries you are flying! Easy installation.

CREDITS:

1.) Milton Shupe, Scott Thomas, and Andre Folkers for their
fantastic Beech 18! What a peach!

2.) Dave Carroll, for making it FSX SP2/Acc friendly!

3.) The original designer of the "fx_smoke_f6" file,
    whoever you are.

INSTALLATION:

1.) For a new tan interior: open your FSX Beech D18S folder
and delete, or rename and save, the "texture" folder.
Then copy and paste the entire enclosed "texture" folder
back into your Beech D18S folder. You now have a new tan
interior for all of your Beech 18's, which will better
match any exterior paint that you are using.

2.) Copy and paste the 3 enclosed texture folders...
    "texture.Cigar", "texture.Rifle", and "texture.Whiskey",
    into your Beech D18S folder.

3.) As is the usual method, change all three "x"'s in the
aircraft.cfg info. below to the next three numbers in line
among your Beech 18 repaints listed in your Beech 18
"aircraft.cfg" file, then copy and paste all 3 of
the aircraft.cfg entries below into your Beech 18
"aircraft.cfg" file, in the proper logically sequential order.
Then click 'file', then click 'save', of course. (Like you've
    done a thousand times before)!

4.) Copy and paste all of the [SMOKESYSTEM] info. below into
your Beech 18 "aircraft.cfg" file. Then click 'file', then
click 'save', of course. I pasted mine at the bottom of the
file with good results. Press your "I" key for smoke on.

5.) Copy and paste the enclosed "fx_smoke_f6" file into your FSX
"Effects" folder. It is probably there already.

6.) Find them in your airplane menu under Beechcraft and go fly
    for corporate America in 1953!
