-----Introduction----- Hello! Thank you for downloading TruNorth Simulations SWS Kodiak 100 Passenger Cargo Config Mod. This mod requires the PayWare version of the SWS Kodiak 100. The purpose of this mod is to simplify the seating options to just 'Passengers', 'Baggage', and 'Cargo'. I personally use this mod for my own aircraft. It makes it much easier to load my aircraft with the correct weight in accordance with FSAirlines when flying for my virtual airline without exceeding CG and MTOW. The default pilot and copilot weight is also change from '170' to '200'. By downloading and installing this mod you assume all risk and do not hold me liable for any and all damage that could or may happen. Be sure you create backups of the original files. -----Changes and Fixes----- 1. In the aircraft's flight_model.cfg, max_number__of_stations= and many station_load= were changed. Testing was done to ensure CG stays within proper range when loading passengers, baggage, and cargo. -----Installation----- Make sure your simulator is not running when you install. 1. Locate your \Packages\Community\sws-aircraft-kodiak-wheels\SimObjects\Airplanes folder 2. In each of the 4 sub-folders, make a backup of each flight_model.cfg file. 3. Extract the contents of this zip file to your \Packages\Community\sws-aircraft-kodiak-wheels folder 4. Confirm overwriting the old files. -----Uninstallation----- 1. Locate your \Packages\Community\sws-aircraft-kodiak-wheels\SimObjects\Airplanes folder 2. In each of the 4 sub-folders, replace each of the flight_model.cfg files with the backups you made previously. -----Troubleshooting----- Q. Why is am I still seeing the original seating and cargo arrangement? A. Make sure your simulator is not running when you edit the files. Restart your simulator. Make sure you extracted the files to the proper Community folder location. Verify the location by looking in... Steam: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages MS Store: C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.FlightSimulator_8wekyb3d8bbwe\LocalCache\Packages ...or you can change the location to something like, e.g. C:\MSFS Once moved, instead of editing the UserCFG.opt file just run MSFS. The content manager will start, prompting a download of all content. Click on “Browse” instead and using explorer select the new folder where the packages have been moved to, e.g. C:\MSFS. Content manager will detect the location of these packages and continue to the main menu without downloading anything.
