INSTALLATION:

Assuming your FS9 install is in the default location of: 

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9


....select either small or larger Tower & Ground Beacons.exe from this folder then double click the file. When the WinZip Self extractor box appears simply click the "UNZIP" button. The selected lights will then be installed automatically. You are ready to fly.

Be aware that although the small tower light texture provides proper scale, the sight distance will significantly drop. If you prefer to be able to see tower lights from a long distance, install the LARGER tower and Ground beacon lights. They will appear too large when viewing within 20-50ft but are much easier to see from a distance like real tower lights.

NOTE!!!
If your FS9 install is NOT in the default location, DO NOT click the unzip button. Instead, click the BROWSE button and browse the WinZip self extractor to your main Flight Simulator (Flight Simulator 9) install directory. Once the WinZip self extractor is browsed to the correct location (Flight Simulator 9), then click the "UNZIP" button.You are ready to fly.


To uninstall and revert to the original textures and FX files, open the folder "Restore Original Lights" in the main directory of this package. Follow the instructions to run the file: Tower & Ground Beacons Restore.exe.
