This is an update for FSX acceleration of the F-102 Delta Dagger by Kazunori Ito. I have updated the flight dynamics and changed the panel background so it is more user friendly. I have changed some gauges, added some gauges, and reduced the centre post so you can see out the front better. I have changed the touchdown, burner and flame effects and updated the flight dynamics. This is the whole aircraft. No virtual cockpit. Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft to the main airplanes folder. Copy the gouges and effects to the main FS gauges and effects folders. Copy the texture that is in the texture folder inside the effects folder to the texture folder in the main FS effects folder. No need to overwrite anything already there. If you have not already done so, copy the .cab files from the default aircraft panel folders that have them to the main FS gauges folder. For some the .cab flies will be .zip files, as .cab files are a type of zip file. The compass icon toggles the radar screen. I believe the North Dakota ANG paint was by Michael Pearson, but I am not sure at this time. This aircraft has no flaps in real life so I eliminated entries for them, other than 0, from the air and aircraft.cfg file. [Reference Speeds] flaps_up_stall_speed=110.00 full_flaps_stall_speed=110.00 //no flaps cruise_speed=528 knots (600 mph.) over the ground at 40,000 ft. (290 indicated) max_indicated_speed=1050.00 max_mach=1.80 max_level_speed=726 knots (825 mph.) over the ground at 40,000 ft. The above is for quick reference to the operating envelope. For me, an approach of at least 130 to 140 knots until short final worked best. Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them. Bob Chicilo. bchicilo@bell.net
