This is an update for FSX of the Cannoli Volanti by Tim Conrad. I have given it a 2D panel from a picture of the VC. Added a different autopilot; changed the size and position of the GPS; changed the position of the radios; adjusted the position of the contact points as necessary; and updated the flight dynamics. Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft to the main FS airplanes folder. [Reference Speeds] flaps_up_stall_speed=75.00 full_flaps_stall_speed=60.00 cruise_speed=230.00 //knots over the ground at 9,500 ft. (200 indicated) max_indicated_speed =365.00 max_mach=0.67 max_level_speed=285 //Knots over the ground at 9,500 ft. (250 indicated) The above cruise height was based on the idea that the aircraft is not pressurized. You can use the 200 knots indicated and fly at any altitude you wish that it will climb to. I have had it up to 18,000 ft. The higher you go, the farther you can go. There were no specifications to be found for it, so I do not know if it has more range now than the real one. With or without flaps approach worked best if speed was at 80 knots or above until close final. Since it is a turboprop, it has reverse thrust to shorten the landing roll. Take-off works best with some up-trim; 1/3 to 1/2. Watch out not to pull the nose up too far on take-off or landing, or the verticle tail booms will hit the ground. Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them. Bob Chicilo. bchicilo@bell.net
