This is an update for FSX of the A-10 Thunderbolt (clean) by Mike Stone. I have added some gauges to the panel; changed the size and position of the GPS; and updated the flight dynamics. No VC. Note: new e-mail address. Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft to the main FS airplanes folder. The radar gauge can be toggled on or off and or change the range setting by clicking along the top left side of the radar bezel between the screws. The switches are invisible; they were made that way by the person who made the gauge. There is an original pitch trim knob or indicator with the panel; but it does not show, by moving, how much up or down you have added, unless you put the mouse pointer over it; so I added the Beech Baron pitch trim to the panel. [Reference Speeds] flaps_up_stall_speed= 115.00 full_flaps_stall_speed= 95.00 cruise_speed= 365.00 //knots over the ground at 32,000 ft. (225 indicated) max_mach = 0.90 max_indicated_speed = 650 //Red line (KIAS) max_level_speed= 460 //knots over the ground at 32,000 ft. (292 indicated) Best to use some up trim on take-off as the engines are above the 0 point. I found that a good approach was done at 130 knots or above until short final.
