This is an update for FSX of the Hermes 4 by Jens B. Kristensen. I have given it a HUD; changed the position of one of the window struts on the 2D panel and changed, resized, and/or repositioned gauges on the 2D panel. I added the other wheels, and updated the flight dynamics.

Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft to the main FS airplanes folder.

[Reference Speeds]
flaps_up_stall_speed= 100.00
full_flaps_stall_speed= 80.00
cruise_speed=241 //knots over the ground at 20,000 ft. (178 indicated)
max_range_speed=214 //knots over the ground at 20,000 ft. (157 indicated)
max_indicated_speed=400.00
max_level_speed=314 //knots over the ground at 20,000 ft. (235 indicated)

This is one of the aircraft that has reversing props, but can't be made to take proper advantage of that in FSX. Like the Connie that I recently updated; if you push the F2 key the engines will slow down so you can land shorter, but it only takes the rpm down to about 760 rpm.

The hud has an rpm window, this only shows rpm for engine 1, so even if the other 3 engines are running; the rpm window will be at 0 if engine one is not running. I believe this is because the hud was made to be used in any aircraft; not a specific aircraft.

I have permission from Jens for this update.

Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them.
