KJFK - Kennedy International Airport, New York by Robert Catherall

This airport update is for KJFK with two optional files made only for the Prepar3Dv2: one version with the Crosswind runways activated and in full operation where all 4 runways will be used for takeoff/landing and one version as the default runway operation: assigned parking now updated as per their website including gates for the A380, Terminal 3 demolished, Delta has now moved much of its operations to T4 as well as using T2, the new terminal extension added to T4 concourse B and allocated only for Delta connection, taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts, the freeway traffic that crosses taxiways A and B now ends before these taxiways, Autogen around the water edges of the airport removed, support vehicle roads rebuilt and many other improvements, airport views are from the roof of the control tower (when in tower view) please view the readme before installation.

There are 3 BGL files: KJFK_P3D_RWC.BGL, KJFK_CW_P3D_RWC.BGL and a KJFK_P3D_RWC_CVX.bgl

Runway Operation Files:
The KJFK_CW_P3D_RWC.BGL file is with the crosswind runways activated where all 4 runways will be used Simultaneously,
The KJFK_P3D_RWC.BGL file is the same as the default runway operation.
Assigned parking is the same in both files.

To Install:

If you are using my earlier version please remove/delete the associated BGL files first.

1. Take the runway operation file of your choice (only one) and the KJFK_P3D_RWC_CVX.bgl and place both of these files into: Prepar3D v2/Addon Scenery/scenery folder or
an active scenery folder of your choice.

2. Start up the Flight Sim and the changes will be present.

IMPORTANT NOTE: PLEASE ONLY USE ONE RUNWAY OPERATION FILE AT ANY TIME:
i.e: Make sure there is only ONE of the runway operation files and the KJFK_P3D_RWC_CVX.BGL file are in the Scenery folder at any time, remove/delete any other KJFK bgl files to avoid incorrect parking and other airport conflicts, the KJFK_P3D_RWC_CVX.BGL should always be used with either file.

PLEASE NOTE: when using ATIS with the KJFK_CW_P3D_RWC.BGL file you will hear the fake runways as well as the airport runways, this is the method used in activating non parallel runways and should be ignored or if preferred use the version KJFK_P3D_RWC.BGL.

To Uninstall:

1. Delete/remove the BGL files and the default airport will then be active.

TIP: when in tower view at KJFK:
Go to your control settings and look for the "View track/pan Toggle"
allocate a keyboard key stroke to it (i allocated a button on my controller) this will unlock the user aircraft, then you can use the hat switch to pan 360 degrees around the airport, hitting the key stroke again (in my case a button) will return you to the user aircraft position

       Enjoy and Happy flying
