OMAA - Abu Dhabi Intl Airport, United Arab Emirates by Robert Catherall





This is Ray Smith's FSX file. Ray has given me permission to modify his file for P3Dv4. This scenery is a very accurate rendition for Abu Dhabi Intl airport. The new Midfield Terminal included will open in late 2019 with Etihad and its associated partners assigned there. The new Terminal 3 is also included. Terminal 2 is moved to its correct location with its current airlines assigned to the gates there. ILS and transitions updated for both runways. Taxiways and taxi signs updated to the latest charts. Fire stations added, fuel tank farm updated, many other scenery objects also added to further enhance this airport. 





There are 2 BGL files, OMAA_P3Dv4_RWC.BGL, OMAA_P3Dv4_RWC_CVX.bgl and a Textures folder containing 3 DDS texture files.



To Install:

1. If not already done, Create an 'Addon Scenery' folder preferable outside the root Prepar folder. 

2. Add 'scenery' and 'texture' folders to the 'Addon Scenery' folder you created. Make sure you
   "Activate" this new folder in Prepar Scenery Library.

3. 
   
           Take the OMAA_P3Dv4_RWC.BGL and the OMAA_P3Dv4_RWC_CVX.BGL file and place both of these files into: 

           Addon Scenery\scenery folder you created.



4.         Copy the 3 DDS files found in the included Textures folder into: 

           Addon Scenery\texture folder you created overwriting any existing files.


NOTE:  If you have any AI Traffic Addons please make sure they have "NOT" installed another AFCAD for this airport as this will also cause a conflict.


NOTE: for those using WOAI Etihad Crystal Cargo I added ETDC parking code to the airline CFG:   atc_parking_codes=ETDC
      this stops the cargo aircraft parking at Etihad gates, so now they will go to the cargo apron 2 coded for them


To Uninstall:

1. Delete/remove the BGL files and the default airport will then be active.
