Installation:

1. Unzip this file archive into a temporary folder. You will find this text file and a file called Setup.exe. (WinXP: double click the zip file)

2. Double click the Setup.exe file to start the installation. If it doesn't find your main FS2004 folder automatically, press the ... button and browse to it. (WinXP: Press the Run button)

After installation of all the files, start FS2004 and the plane will appear in the Select Aircraft menu.

There is an alternate panel bitmap from Cliff Presley found in the Alternate Panel Bitmap folder in the zip file.

There are alternate MDL files to change the crew complement in the VC in the VC Crew Models folder in the zip file.

For FSX, install into the main FSX folder. You will need to press the ... button and find your main FSX folder. After installation, move the GA C46 folder found in the FSX/Aircraft folder to the FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes folder. You will also need to edit this line in the plane's panel.cfg file (found in the FSX/SimObjects/Airplanes/GA C46/panel folder):

Edit this line:

VIEW_FORWARD_DIR= 12.2, 0.00, 0.00

to this:

VIEW_FORWARD_DIR= 7.2, 0.00, 0.00

Finally, Doug Dawson says "In FSX you will still get a warning message when you load a dsd gauge. You will then get a brief description of the gauge, along with my name. If you click the "Options" radio button, you will then have the opportunity to "Always trust files from Douglas S. Dawson" If you are inclined to always trust my stuff, then FSX will stop asking questions about them."
