Doug Dawson for his FSX XML sound gauge

=== Installation ===

The "A320_Callouts" folder goes into the "panel" folder of your Airbus A32x.

Edit the panel.cfg and add the following to the end of the [VCockpit01] section:

gauge00=A320_Callouts/A320_Callouts_Sound!Sound, 0,0,0,0 \A320_Callouts_Sound.ini
gauge01=A320_Callouts!A320_Callouts_Control, 0,0,1,0

Alter the numbers between "gauge" and "=" to put the gauge entries in the [VCockpit01] section into
sequence with the predecessing gauges!
No number must be assigned twice!
Gauge numbers must increse from the top to the bottom of the [VCockpit01] section!
Jumps in numbering are allowed as long as the predecessing number is lower than the following one!

Save and close the panel.cfg. You're done.

=== Usage ===

You will hear callouts when:
1. Flaps handle is not in "up" position
2. There is a rate of descent greater than zero

The "retard" call depends on your throttle position. If the throttle is closed at 10ft, you will hear
the altitude callout, if not, you will hear "retard".

Sounds are set to play once per callout.
The "100 above" and "minimum" callouts might overlap with regular altitude callouts.

=== Editing ===

You can disable specific callouts in A320_Callouts\A320_Callouts_Control.xml.
Make a backup copy of the xml file beforehand.

Example:
To disable the 70 feet callout, put a "<!--" (without the quotation marks) into the line below the
"<!-- 70 ft -->" line and a "-->" (without the quotation marks) below the
"if{ 0 (>L:A320_Callout_70_Played, bool) }" line.

A disabled 70ft callout entry would look like this:

<!-- 70 ft -->
<!--
65 70 @Altitude rng
[...]
if{ 0 (>L:A320_Callout_70_Played, bool) }
-->

If you need a practical example for a disabled callout, check the entry for the 5 ft callout in
A320_Callouts_Control.xml.
Reverse the process to (re-)activate a callout.

Do this as you see fit. Some airlines have detailed callouts, some don't.
