This is an update for FSX of the ATR 42-300, model and VC by Virtualcol. Ex payware. Packaged by Chris Evans. I have made a change to the aircarft.cfg file that should allow you to stop and start the engines without using Control+E. Webmaster please replace the previous update with this one. The following is what I did before. I have changed the GPS; added an autopilot, nav/gps switch, and a trim gauge to the 2D panel; added the other 3 wheels, and the scrape points which were not there at all; and I updated the flight dynamics. Unzip to a folder of your choice. Copy the aircraft to the main FS airplanes folder. Copy the effects to the main FS effects folder. If you want the cockpit warning sounds copy the contents of the sound folder to the main FS sounds folder. I found that there were some lines in the [turboprop_engine] section that don't belong there and may have made it impossible to restart a stopped engine unless you used the control+E command. I keep learning something new all the time. I did not want to take the time to learn a new autopilot and the FMS system, is the reason why I added the old standby autopilot and a gps switch. I don't know about you, but for me the draw is to the flying, not learning new gauges for every aircraft I try to fly. I could not add any gauges to the VC because of the way it is made. [Reference Speeds] flaps_up_stall_speed = 101.00 full_flaps_stall_speed = 82.00 cruise_speed = 300.00 //knots over the ground at 22,000 ft. (216 indicated) max_indicated_speed = 315.00 //knots over the ground at 18,000 ft. (244 indicated) max_mach = 0.7 If you don't want the HUD, remark out // gauge 75 in the main window of the panel.cfg file; or change it to one you like better. If you have other paints of the aircraft you can add them to the updated aircraft if you know how to add new paints to an aircraft. Anyone: You have my permission to use any of my updates with the following conditions: One, you don't try to make money with them. Two, you don't try to hurt, or take something from anyone by using them. Bob Chicilo. bchicilo@kelcom.net
