Airbus A380-800 V4 Operators Collection:
----------------------------------------------
FSX/P3D Airbus A380-800 operators collection. Based on Project Airbus A380 models and Thomas Ruth A340 VC, with many updates and a new A380 High Definition 2D Panel.
This package contains all 3 Project Airbus FSX Native models, Engine Alliance (EA), Rolls-Royce (RR) and Rolls-Royce with Wifi (RR-W).
This collection contains 20 beautiful original real life liveries from every past and present A380 operators, including the Hifly "Save the coral reef", the Emirates "Dubai Expo", the Singapore "Golden Jubilee" and all 3 ANA "Flying Honus"!
All aircraft textures have been enhanced to 2048x2048 pixels (2K) DDS DXT5, with added specular and better night lighting. All VC textures have also been converted to DDS DXT5.
The new panel features the following extra gauges: FMC by Garret Smith, and Ground Services, VSpeeds, Callout, HGS, Taxi, Icons32 and Cockpit Sounds by me.
Most of these gauges are using the FSX XML Sound gauge by Doug Dawson. I also made a new GPS1000 popup GPS, based on the Garmin G1000.
Two superb custom Rolls-Royce and Engine Alliance engine sounds packages, new effects, new Air file and improved flight dynamics.
Tested in FSX Acceleration (DX10) and FSX Steam Edition (DX9). Not tested in P3D but should work correctly up to V3. Sound effects may not work in V4 or V5.


INSTALLATION:
---------------
1 - Extract the zip archive in the folder of your choice.

In the folder you will find these 4 folders: "Airplanes", "Effects", "Gauges" and "Sound".

2 - Copy/paste the content of the "Airplanes" folder in your FSX\SimObjects\Airplanes folder.
3 - Copy/paste the content of the "Effects" folder in your FSX\Effects folder.
4 - Copy/paste the content of the "Gauges" folder in your FSX\Gauges folder.
5 - Copy/paste the content of the "Sound" folder in your FSX\Sound folder.

Note: You may need Administrator's permissions to do the above.

6 - Launch FSX, Select your new Airbus A380-800 and go flying!


DOCUMENT FOLDER:
------------------
The Document Folder contains useful information on how to use the new 2D panel.
There are two images in the folder explaining most of the OVERHEAD and the PEDESTAL functions, buttons and switches.
There is also the usual FMC manual.


TESTING ENVIRONMENT:
----------------------
This aircraft was tested in Windows 11 x64.
Microsoft Flight Simulator X Steam Edition (DX9).
Microsoft Flight Simulator X + Acceleration Pack (DX10).
DX9 and DX10 Preview Mode with SteveFX DX10 Scenery Fixer v5.4.


DESIGN TOOLS:

Textures converted with MWGraphic's DXTBmp.
Air file edited with Aircraft Airfile Manager (AAM).
Lights and Effects created with FXEditor.
Sound files edited with Ocenaudio.
