README FIRST - RADAR RELOCATION
AIRCRAFT : ALPHA F-111 PIG HUD

IMPORTANT NOTE : The following is ONLY applicable if you already
have Revision 4 Update of the panel installed , as was contained
in download fxpiggb4.zip
PURPOSE : The current location and size of the Ground Mapping
and Intercept Radar , probably is annoying to some as it obstructs
the view of several instruments , although it can be moved and
resized , it is a fiddly operation and therefore impedes its
regular use .
The following procedure results in a slightly smaller Radar
that is positioned on the top right hand side of the 2D panel over
the top of the WAAS instrument .This location is better and
integrates better with the panel layout . With the Radar being a
Pop up window it allows access to the WAAS by simply clicking the
Radar icon off .
This location still allows for the Radar to be big enough to be
of use .
All Radar functions are retained , including being moveable and
resizeable .
This new location enables the radar to be used full time or
at least to be quickly called up without loss of access to any
instrument other than the WAAS .
Please view the included screenshots of the two radar
locations and sizes , if you decide you would prefer the smaller
radar , then just follow the installation procedure detailed below.
METHOD : The change is effected simply by replacement of the
panel cfg .

INSTALLATION :
1. Included in this download are two (2) folders , they are
labelled
            #1 Large Radar
            #2 Small Radar
each of the folders contains a panel cfg .
The " Large Radar" is simply a backup copy of the panel cfg
that came with fxpiggb4.zip .
The " Small Radar" is the NEW panel cfg that when installed
results in a smaller radar in a new location as described above .

2. Open #2 Small Radar folder and copy the panel cfg .

3. --Navigate to FSX Airplanes and open it ,
then open ALPHA F-111 PIG HUD ,

--you will see a variety of folders , one of them is
labelled panel , right click on the panel folder , and
paste in the previously copied panel cfg

--the computer will ask if you wish to copy and replace ,
          say yes .

4. Installation is now complete .
