Since there are still limitations regarding the lighting within FS9 there are still a few compromises having to be made. The Decal lighting is a good way to overcome this but uses a fair amount of polygons and texture mapping. All fuselage and tail lighting make full use of the new Decal lighting method. However the inspection light splashes on the wings and engines are conventional night mapped textures which are simply controlled by the landing lights switch. With the default panel\Posky763\Pkycondassign.xml gauge the inspection light is controlled by the "L" lights command and not the "CTRL+L" landing lights command. So for this instance the alpha channel for the wings and engines night textures should be black instead of white. Alternatively the modified panel\Posky763\Pkycondassign.xml gauge allows for the inspection light on the fuselage to be controlled by the "CTRL+L" landing lights command which is then consistent for when the alpha channel for the wings and engines night textures are white.
