Gauge: dsd_battery_charger.dll A gauge for FSX SP2 or later, to a battery charging function to your aircraft. This provides an alternative to using FSUIPC or the "ElectricalAlwaysAvailable" feature in panel.cfg. When active, the gauge will charge the battery at the rate of 0.05 volts per second. This should be sufficient to stay ahead of any draw resulting from the avionics being active. Click on the gauge to activate or deactivate the charging function. For those of you familiar with real winter weather, this gauge is really more like booster cables for your aircraft - as soon as battery voltage is increased above the minimum require, the entire electrical system will immediately come back to life... Panel.cfg syntax: gauge41=dsd_battery_charger!charger, 552,559,50,24 The gauge can also be controlled by means of the L:Variable (L:BatteryCharger, bool) You will still need to install the 'charger' gauge element, but if you are using your own XML front end, you will be able to get away with something like: gauge41=dsd_battery_charger!charger, 0,0,1,1 There are also a couple of battery voltage display elements: gauge42=dsd_battery_charger!meter, 562,756,80,80 ; an analogue meter gauge52=dsd_battery_charger!digital meter, 1063,531,50 ; a digital meter Neither of these is necessary for operation.
