Paint Kit for PAD Learjet 60

Prepared by Bob May of PAD and Bill Mullins [ bmullins3@satx.rr.com ]

The main textures are in both psd (Photoshop) and psp (Paint Shop Pro) formats.

These textures are suitable for use with FS9 and FSX models.

These psd and psp textures are multi layered, experienced painters will know that extra layers can be added if required.

A separate folder is enclosed with textures of alpha channels ( for adding reflective effect)

Both FS9 and FSX requires that the finished textures are in DXT1, DXT3, DXT5 or dds format, they will not show up in the sim if you use any other formats. To format your repaint you will need either "Imagetool" from the Gmax folder on your original FS disks, or Martin Wright's DXTBMP freeware program (recommended).

Legal Stuff

These textures are the copyright of Premier Aircraft Design (PAD)

You may use this paint kit to repaint PAD models for your own use without restriction but if you intend to upload the completed repaint to any web site, including Virtual Airlines websites, then you must publish your new texture folder as an add-on to a complete PAD model.

This means in practise that you publish only your texture folder and provide a readme text file with it instructing your users to download the complete aircraft from www.premaircraft.com
It is a good idea to give directions to your users on how to add your texture folder to the original aircraft model and how to modify the aircraft.cfg file so that your texture will show up when the aircraft is selected in MS Flight Simulator FS9 or FSX.
