Thanks for downloading this B787 panel and I hope you enjoy flying with it. This is my first attempt at doing panel designs for probably 10 years. Once I lost my medical I lost interest in flying including flight sim, but at some poing about 6 months ago I started using flight sim again and well, I got the bug to design or redesign some panels I had been using to suit more my taste and what I use them for. I normally don't do fancy popups or anything like that. I use the panel to fly, practice navigation and approaches. The panels are laid out as they should be in the real aircraft and are very usable. They may not be exactly like how the real panel looks, but they will be close enough. I have designed panels from FS98 up to FS2004 before stopping. I do have FSX as well but for some reason I prefer FS2004 as my choice to fly so any new or improved panels will be only for FS2004. Ok on to Installation! ============================================= Unzip the ddb787v1.0panel.zip file, you will have the following folders as shown below in the zip archive for the panel ddb787v1.0panel.zip | |_panel-camsim |_panel-tds |_gauges |_sounds Based on the B787 aircraft your using will depend on the panel folder that you are going to install (Unless your using both the Camsim and TDS B787 aircraft) then you will install the correct panel folder into the correct aicraft folder. If your using the TDS B787 then you will copy the panel-tds into the aicraft folder and once there you will rename the panel-tds folder to panel and this will then allow the panel to show up correctly. (or copy the contents of the panel-tds folder to the panel folder of the TDS B787 aircraft overwriting what is in that folder already) If your using the Camsim B787 then you will copy the panel-camsim into the aicraft folder and once there you will rename the panel-camsim to panel and this will then allow the panel to show up correctly. (or copy the contents of the panel-camsim folder to the panel folder of the Camsim B787 aircraft overwriting what is in that folder already) Copy everything in the gauges folder into your FSxxxx\Gauges folder (Overwriting is fine or you can not overwrite if asked) Copy any sounds\folders from inside the sound folder in the zip to your FSxxxx\sound folder (If you get an option to overwrite, again its your choice to overwrite or not) ============================================= Start up your Fligh Sim and select your aircraft and you should see the panel and gauges Any word.document included will have instructions on the panel on where things are.
