Brooksville-Tampa Bay Regional Airport (KBKV) By: Art Poole Description: This is former World War II military airfield used by the 9th Bombardment Group to train B-17 and B-24 crews and is now the largest airport north of the Tampa Bay-St. Petersburg/Clearwater region in Florida with two active runways, including a 7000-foot ILS runway, and a control tower. The scenery package includes a photoreal airport background and models of actual buildings on the airport and in the vicinity. Scenery is based on Google Earth including street view, and it is optimized for use with UTX-USA. Installation: Extract the zip file and move the KBKV folder to the "Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery" folder and then add this folder to the scenery list in FSX settings. For all scenery objects to display, the Scenery Complexity slider in Scenery settings must be set to "Very Dense". If you don't have the kb_static_aircraft_FSX library installed, a copy is included for installation to show parked aircraft. To revert back to FSX default, uncheck KBKV in the AddOn Scenery list. Legal, and Contact: This scenery is freeware, and may not be reproduced in whole, or any part for profit. There is no warranty. It was tested using FSX Deluxe edition, Acceleration, UTX2 and GEX. Airport modification, landclass changes and object placement were accomplished using Airport Design Editor v1.76.6582 by ScruffyDuck Software. ModelConverterX by Arno Gerretsen was used for model LODs, and DXTBmp by Martin Wright was used to format textures.
