EXTRAS

Folder "Extras" in the zip contains a Follow Me Jeep and a Crew Bus
carrying the MATS logo and lettering. They are intended to be used as
ground vehicles, running around on your airfield as AI traffic.

To install, copy the two folders MJ_FollowMeJeep and MJ_MATS_CrewBus to
SimObjects\GroundVehicles. Then make a decision on which default ground
vehicles you want them to replace. The SDK's Traffic Toolbox is a great
app for finding out which vehicles are active on your favorite airports.

Here is an example setup (partly preconfigured in the files included).
Suppose there is a fuel truck named "Veh_Air_Fueltruck_2_sm" on your
airport (as is often the case). To replace it by the Jeep we need to
trick the simulator into believing that the Follow Me Jeep is the fuel
truck. The key to this is the unique title given to each ground vehicle.
Therefore,

-- In Simobjects\GroundVehicles go to folder "Veh_Air_Fueltruck_2_sm".
-- find the truck's sim.cfg and open it using Notepad. Copy the title=
line to the clipboard.
-- rename fuel truck's title, calling it 'XXX Veh_Air_Fueltruck_2_sm'
-- save the file.
-- go to folder MJ_FollowMeJeep, and open its sim.cfg.
-- open in Notepad and paste the title= line copied before into one of
the fltsim sections.
-- save.

As a matter of fact, in the Jeep's current sim.cfg file I have already
preset the two common types of fuel trucks so that the Jeep will be used
in their role. You still have to edit the fuel truck's sim.cfg and rename
its title as described above. Similarly, for the Crew Bus I have preset
two popular types of Transit Buses (please look up the Crew Bus's sim.cfg
to check).

You can test your Jeep installation by parking your B-50 in a default
parking spot and hitting Shift-F (call fuel truck). As in real life it
may take a while for it to appear.
