THE DARK EAGLE II-2000
--------------------------------------

THE PLANE:
This is a fictional version of a HIGHLY MODIFIED Christen Eagle. Designed from the original ARX Dark Eagle for FS98, the DK2 now joins the ranks of all the "real-world" Muscle Biplanes out there that have made their way into the FS world. If I ever find a pot of GOLD one day, maybe I can afford to reverse the flow and take this one from the virtual and transform it into the real world!! With every biplane design I have seen or created, I get new idea's and this one is the end product of all my wishing for my own sport-bipe and adds my own personal touches,....it's red, of course, and has some unique wingtips that have been called "Hollywood Wingtips" by airshow performer Wayne Handley whose Turbo Raven also had them. The wingtips really don't offer any added aerodynamic efficiency, they are purely for looks! This version should actually be called Dark Eagle 3 since there are already two floating around, but the second Dark Eagle is just a Moving parts re-work of the original that I did for Full Throttle Magazine's Afterburner CD, and can only be found there! The original Dark Eagle is available at the Aeroworks site.

THE PANEL:
This panel evolved from my rendering of BJ Boyle's Black Eagle 360, and I used the exact same background bitmap, edited for the ARX-NAV feature and DK2 text. It has not been tested in FS2000 Std. but I cannot think of any reason why it would not work with that program. I have incorporated the FS2000-GPS function as well as the 2-VOR instruments and an ADF so hopefully this plane may make it onto some IFR weather on some of your flights!!!!

!~ENJOY~!

This aircraft is distributed as freeware and is NOT permitted to be on any commercial products *unless* you have my permission. It is however, encouraged to be uploaded to any website as long as this entire zip file stays original (as-is) and proper credits are stated. (I would also like a letter with a link to the site, but it's not required)

~THANKS~
