It's been 2 years and 8 days....
Since I first got FSDS, Since I first started designing.... It's been a
long time. It's been a long, but enjoyable time. Ever since I first started
with FSDS, I've been enjoying all the time I spent on designing. This fact
still doesn't change. I enjoy every second I sit in front of my computer,
firing up my design program, hoping that someday, sometime, the file I'm
working on will encourage another Flight simmer to take up designing. I've
enjoyed reading all the comments people have sent to me about my past projects,
I enjoyed reading all the requests in the request book, I've even enjoyed
reading at problems within my files! I wished I could keep on doing this
for a long long time...
But things have changed, and now I must abtruply take a step away from
designing. I am sure this will dissapoint many who have been waiting for
my projects to finish, for one of their requests to be taken up, or for
some help desperatly needed. I deeply apologize for having to quit due
to personal reasons.
I have been thinking about this for quite some time, and hope I've come
with the right answer - only time will tell.
Not one, but many reasons have affected my decision to quit, and it's nobody's
fault. It's just something that had to happen. I was sure I would have
to quit sometime, but just wasn't sure when to make the call. I could have
made the B-52 as a final good-bye project, but opted not to and try to
do as much work as possible. I was confident I could finish off the many
projects I have promised, however I have come out empty-handed. Again,
I apologize for not fulfilling my promises.
I thank everybody who has helped me come this far, it has been a long,
but short time. I wish I could do something to give you guys something
back. Maybe someday later I will be able to come back, and do my best again.
I will not back away from the FS community though. I will still stay around
the many FS forums having fun with all of you, helping each other, and
hopefully enjoy myself. I will still keep my site open, although I doubt
it will be updated much.
I am getting all of my files ready for upload to select sites so people
can benefit from my half-finished work. I hope someday someone will pick
it up from where I left and finish one of these things off.
I'm still going to support all of my files as much as I can, soe if you
have any problems, feel free to email me and I will get to you in my free
time. If I don't reply after a week, please resend the message to me.
