Premier Aircraft Design
(PAD) announces the freeware release of the Bombardier CRJ900-ER
for FS2004 Century of Flight.
The release contains two complete aircraft,
the prototype C-FRJX in Bombardier demonstration livery and
the N906FJ in America West Express livery. In addition, each
aircraft has a choice of whether or not to load the synthesised
voice Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS). Each model is
a complete package of aircraft, panel with internal views,
DVC (Dynamic Virtual Cockpit) and CRJ900 sound and, in addition,
has a custom TCAS (Traffic Collision Avoidance System) and
a full ground handling module with push back and taxi speed
control and also included are transparent altimeter setting
knobs on the PFD.
The visual model includes an opening airstair,
operating leading edge slats, thrust reversers, passenger
wing views, and high definition reflective textures. A comprehensive
set of html documents (Check List & Ref List) are included
for in-flight information.
A separate Panel_Docs folder accompanies this
release with panel and systems help files and pilot's notes.
Jean-Pierre Brisard, Barry Blaisdell and Bob May, with assistance
from Nick Linehan, a current America West Express CRJ900 pilot,
have created this model by popular demand following the recent
successful release of the PAD CRJ700-ER and, as with the CRJ700,
particular attention has been paid to accurate internal and
external visual detail and realistic flying qualities.
