************
INSTALLATION ************ The included file is a self-extracting ZIP that will install all files in the proper folders of your CFS2 main directory. Simply run the self-extracting file, and point it at the directory of your hard-drive that contains your CFS2 main directory. EXAMPLE: If you have a default CFS2 installation, you would point the self-extractor at C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Combat Flight Simulator 2. After
installation the campaign will appear in your CFS2 Campaigns menu, and
the two F-86s will appear in your Free Flight menu. |
IMPORTANT #1 ************ To avoid the "exploding jets" problem with jet aircraft in CFS2, you must make the following manual change to your CFS2.cfg file, which is located in the main CFS2 directory: - Open the CFS2.cfg
file in Notepad. This option cannot be accessed from any in-program menus, and can be changed back manually or left in place permanently. |
IMPORTANT
#2 ************ In order to use the Advanced Information feature of CFS2 with this campaign, you must: 1.
(Strongly Suggested) Replace your existing CFS2\INFO\airbases.dat
file with the one provided in this package. You may backup your original,
if you wish for reuse later. This is only needed, if it is customized. OR 2.
(Less Reliable Option) Add the Korean airfield entries listed
below to the airbases.dat file in your CFS2\INFO folder. [runway.127] [runway.128] [runway.129] [runway.130] [runway.131] [runway.132] |
IF YOU DO NOT USE ONE OF THE ABOVE OPTIONS AND TRY TO ACCESS ADV INFO, CFS2 WILL CRASH TO DESKTOP. |
