Visual Model: The actual dimmensions of the aircraft are good, there is some bleedthrough on the engine intake and with the landing gear. The other point of interest would be the canopy, it would be nice to have a clear canopy or something other than grey.
This aircraft has moving parts (horizontal stabs, flaps, and gear)
The only thing with the MP that I could see is that the rudder and airlerons do not move, but this is minor.
The paint scheme is different but it looks nice.
Flight Model: I have to say that its one of the better F16 models that I have flown. The speed ranges between low altitude and high altitude are pretty close.
Max spd 8,000ft= Mach 1.2
Max spd 18,000ft= Mach 2.0+
any faster and it will begin to buffet. The autopilot is stable and responsive at cruise settings, but will get very unstable a high speeds.
The actuall feel of the aircraft is tight or very stiff. It feels as if it is flying on a rope with very little bleed off (Losing airspeed in a turn) I found that I would have to deploy the speed brakes before landing to slow the aircraft to a point where I could set the wheels down, and my wheels down speed with full flaps and gear down was 100 knots. Basically it takes way to long to slow the plane down, not enough drag. In a high performance aircraft you have what is called energy bleed off. What this means is when a aircraft banks it loses lift do to a high angel of attack or pitch, so it takes more power to maintain airspeed and complete a turn.
Other than the stiffness and the drag issue of the flight model it is very good and with a little tinckering it could be an excellant flight model.
Fun Factor: I actually had a good time flying this plane, it could use some touch ups on the visual and flight model, but it has a lot of potential.
If your looking for a nimble fighter then this is a good one.
I give it a 7
