Modifications are made for, again, a wonderful created Piper aircraft by Rien Cornelissen. This time it concerns the Piper Arrow-IV PA-28T-201 aircraft that Rien made in 2008. At first I hesitated on doing modifications on this Arrow IV as it did look great and performed well. Also the VC of Rien is nice but after some testing I did not like the lights configuration of the aircraft in Prepar3D. Then I thought it would be nice to give Rien's VC an even more 'old school' look... So here I started to make a mod of the Arrow IV. It will be my last one of Rien's creations. The modifications consist of some recoded gauges, some new gauges, an enhanced Bendix King Auto Pilot, reference and checklists kneeboard files, four expandable gauges and Cockpit sounds. An extra panel was created with a Garmin GNS530 in VC. Stock Bendix King Radio gauges are replaced with equivalent ones by ones created by Pierre Fasseaux. Further improvements concern aircraft lights and aircraft lights management. Finally three new liveries are provided. For a full list of modifications and a credits list see file: Piper ArrowIV_RC_mod.pdf in the 'Docs' folder of the aircraft. This package has only been tested okay in Prepar3D v4+ However I have included panel configurations for FSX users. See INSTALL.txt for help if needed. Happy days and happy flights. Native FSX Piper Arrow III PA-28R-201, non-turbo variant. Models by Rien Cornelissen. I did use the Arrow III PA-28R-201, non-turbo variant package, Arrow-3.zip by Rien to create a native FSX Piper Arrow III PA-28R-201 non-turbo, which Rien did not release as FSX native variant. I did use from Arrow-3.zip the data in the aircraft.cfg and did use the .air file from it. I then did use the external and internal models of the turbo variant Arrow III PA-28R-201T. I also did use the original panel from the Arrow-3.zip by Rien and except for 2 missing gauges it loaded straight in Prepar3D v4+ where it did perform well. Created a new extra panel with some enhanced gauges by Pierre Fasseaux. Created two new panels based on panel above with beige and blue colored VC front panels. So now there are four different panels. As Rien did, aircraft sound is aliased to the stock Mooney Bravo. Added are three liveries of which one completely new. Updates consists of extra Cockpit sounds for standard FS events but also for custom gauges. Added are 2 extra liveries, some gauges has been enhanced like Auto Pilot and clock, and new VC cameras. Extra documentation including kneeboard files has been included. Modifications has been tested okay in Prepar3D v4+ Note that this is not the complete aircraft, you need to have installed the Piper PA-28 Arrow III for FSX and P3D4 by Rien Cornelissen.

FSX/P3Dv3,v4,v5, PA-28-180 Cherokee Floatplane The Piper_PA-28-180 floatplane was not officially built to support water floats, but a certain number were successfully modified with floats by their owners and other enthusiasts. This modification has proved especially useful in locations where the landscape has many lakes, rivers and shores. Native mdl by A.F.Scrub.

FSX Piper Cherokee 2K2X Dynamic Internal Panel. This optional upgrade kit for (LEGACY_CHEROKEE_2K2X.ZIP) contains both Panel and Model folders for the three Cherokee 2K2X projects, but with added dynamic interior instrument panel gauges. The internal static panel view is now a projected image of the 2D panel, that which Horst Paetzold's (HPCHEROK.ZIP) designed. I found during my development of the Piper XPA-35-470 Pocono, that my interior instrument panel was a lot nicer to fly than the static image I used in the PA-28-140 airplanes. I therefore found a way to place the FSDS VPanel into the 140 airplanes in separate folders (.1) so I could switch back at any time if the new panels didn't seem to work out. It's been weeks and I like the projections well enough to keep them. This kit also contains the model upgraded prop fixes and I included in the Textures.zip file the missing left widow portal. It is your option to add them if you want it as well. Simple copies of the \Panel.1 and \Model.1 folders will get you the projection screens and to activate them, tell your AIRCRAFT.CFG which folders to use, refer to the README.TXT file for details. FSX Piper Chrokee 140. Legacy (CHEROKEE.ZIP) by Rien Cornelissen for FS2000, (PA28_140.ZIP) by Ken Ettie for FS2002 and Daniel Mandato Alves's (PA28AACSP.ZIP) for FS2002 have all come alive once again, now in FSX. The Piper PA-28-140 "trainers" we all knew in the '70's and '80's flew well and were favorites, not usually seen now in FSX "freeware fleets." Along came Horst Paetzold's (HPCHEROK.ZIP) 2D panel and a perfect/completed set of pieces arrived, if only they were all in one pacakge? This PA28 Cherokee trainer package is a compiled set of those pieces and represent what I believe you might still find today on most airfield rentals, only now you can fly them in FSX. FSX/P3Dv3,v4 PA-28-180 Cherokee The Piper PA-28 Cherokee is a family of two-seat or four-seat light aircraft built by Piper Aircraft and designed for flight training, air taxi and personal use. FSX/P3D 3/4/5 Piper PA-28-180 Cherokee package. This is the P3D4 (maybe also FSX) AI PA28 made flyable with the internal model and textures by Hauke Keitel added. Sounds added by Christoffer Petersen. Configs edited to get views etc correct. 3 liveries included. Flies pretty like the real thing (I fly one of these for real). Assembled for FSX Acceleration and P3D 3 & 4 by Chris Evans.
