Mil MI-24V Hind E
Deadly looking, and just as lethal, the Mil MI-24 series of
Helicopter Gunships are perfect Cold War images of the Soviet
concept of a "Flying APC" Armed with AT Missles, Rockets and
Cannon, and capable of transporting 8 Troops in its cabin.
Caused much concern in the West, where there was no counterpart,
and given the NATO code-name "Hind" This FS9 model has multiple
paint schemes, lots of ani's, VC, some "custom" gauges and
working gear. 10.8MB Filename: Mi-24v.zip

MI-24V Hind E OPTEC Textures only. This MI-24V by Tim Conrad
repaint represents the Hind employed by OPTEC (Operational Test
& Evaluation Command), stationed at Biggs AAF, Ft Bliss, Texas.
Besides the Hind they operate many other former Warshaw Pact
produced aircraft to create an opposing force with equipment
closely resembling a realistic outfit. After conflicts like
the first Gulf-War and the fall of the "Iron Curtain" the U.S.
armed forces as well as other western nations gained a lot off
former Soviet equipment for evaluation and training purpose.
Many of the still operable equipment is now deployed as OPFOR.
You need the original MI-24V.zip file by Tim Conrad in order
to use this repaint (above) . Repaint: Rene Spaan. 3.1MB |

Mi-24 Hind Cuban Army Corps Textures only (Original full
aircraft above) . Cuban Army Cops Hind in the unusual green/caribean
blue camouflage colours. At first sight, one wonders whether
the camouflage pattern of this Mi-24 Hind-D can ever be effective.
Only imagine Cuba's lush vegetation and blue skies.. Original
by Tim Piglet Conrad, Cuban repaint by Javier Montes. 1.7MB |
