SAAB J-29B "Tunnan" The Saab J-29 was the first swept wing
jet built by Sweden, first flying in 1948. Designed around the
Ghost engine and central air intake, the resulting rotound fuselage
instantly resulted in the name "Tunnan", Swedish for "barrel".
Models A and B were fighters, the model C was a photo recon
plane, and the final F introduced an afterburner, and new dogtooth
wing leading edges. J-29's served with the Swedish and Austrian
air forces, and also served with the UN during the Congo Conflict.
Swedish J-29's ended their days as target towing planes, and
as"enemy forces" trainers. This pack includes the J-29B model
in Swedish and UN schemes, VC's, and smooth-function XML gauges.
J-29F model available in separate download, as J-29F. Tim Conrad.

Short Seamew AS.1.
The Short Seamew was a highly curious looking aircraft designed
in 1951 by David Keith-Lucas of Shorts as a lightweight anti-submarine
platform. This specification was in response to the alarming
increase in capabilities of the Soviet submarine forces following
World War II However, poor performance coupled with shifting
defense doctrine meant that it never reached service. Only 19
being built before the project was cancelled. by Kazunori Ito.
