Converter v1.0
This utility is converter of 3D objects which can work
with folowing object formats: FS Design Studio object
(*.fsc) - import/export, FS Design Studio part (*.fsp)
- import/export, AutoCAD DXF (*.dxf) - import/export,
LightWave 3D (*.lwo) - import, Wavefront (*.obj) - export.
With this program You can make your 3D models in high-end
modelers and FSDS use only for texturing and final export
into FS or you can easily convert your model from FSDS
into gMax. It's successor of CVA plugins, which works

observe the Multi-Resolution feature of Abacus Flight
Simulator Design Studio Pro by temporarily replacing
the "stock" CFS2 A6M2 model with the seven-level colored
box model. The applet provides a "toggle" function.

type tandem Cockpit FSC. Here is a useful sub-project.
I always keep an ALMOST complete cockpit and merge it
with every project needing one. Then I just tailor it
to fit and apply any required textures. It saves me an

| Afterburner
effect Version 1.0 FSC : This
FSC file contains the parts for getting afterburner flames
identical to the ones used on the F-15E for FS2K by Kotaro
Akikawa. All parts are taggged for immediate use, But
will need tweaking for optimum change timing. Most of
the timing depends on the Max RPM of an engine. In "Part
Properties", Change the V1 and V2 values under "Display
Conditions". A Higher number equals to higher RPM. The

It's a bit different, But the info about V1 and V2 is

The Browing M2 .50cal was introduced in 1937 as an anti
tank weapon for use on the French front of WW1 to combat
German Armor. Armor technology has advaced greatly since
the M2's apearance, but it is still in service today with
militarys around the world. Design notes: The Z,and Y
axis are set to the wepons pivot point for easy mounting

Convert
FSDS v 1.*to G-Max
Does
not work with FSDS V2.*

| CVA
plugins now consists from two plugin modules for
FS Design Studio V1 - CVA_Export and CVA_Import.
With these plugins you can transfer objects between FSDS
and most of other 3D modeling softwares. There is support
of DXF format on both sides (import/export) and on the
side of import, there is too support of LWO format. LWO
Import (Lightwave 3D) - it can import only objects without
layers from LW version 5.6 and earlier. If it can read
objects from new versions of LW I don't know, because
I don't have these new Lightwaves or objects saved in
these new versions. DFX Import/Export (AutoCAD, 3DStudio
and many other 3D modelers) - it can read aprox. 80% of
polygon types which can be in DXF. We have tried objects
exported from AutoCAD and 3D Studio and both read this
plugin well. There is only a little problem, that when
you export object from 3DStudio into DXF, it splits all
polygons into triangles, so it don't make the plugin,
but 3DStudio. When you export object from FSDS into DXF,
it writes there all polygons in the same form as it is
in FSDS, so it don't split it into triangles or something
else. Polygons with 3 and 4 vertexes are writen as 3DFace,
others as 3D Polyline. We have tried to import DXFs from
FSDS into AutoCAD, 3DStudio and LightWave 3D (using 3D
Translator plugin) and in all cases it works well. . By

FSC for FSDS projects:
This afterburner is for inclusion in FSDS projects. It
originated as an idea I saw on a Mirage 2000. Unfortunately
I don't know who its mastermind was. Unfortunately I cannot
therefore credit them properly but do hope they don't

2 Articulated Pilot

A fully articulated figure with the part heirarchy such
that it is easily posable. Arms, legs and head have their
axes located approximately where the joints should be.
A second pair of arms is included with heirarchy reversed
so as to allow animation of the arms and hands to follow

to FSDS2 file conversion Kit
Converting
Gmax into FSDS2 files is a lot like sex after marriage.
It's a slow painful process that no one wants to do, but
everyone has to. Seriously though, since the wonderful
folks at Abacus have yet to give us this import capability
in FSDS, and since Gmax continues to have features that
FSDS does not, there continues to be a need for importing
and exporting between the two programs. This package attempts
to provide the user with the necessary tools to accomplish
