Guidelines
for New Uploaders
- Please
include a File Description in
simple txt (Notepad) format - Webmasters
are busy people so please help by providing a description we can copy
& paste into the page. We can not describe files - YOU must describe
your file. (remember to include credits for original designers where
applicable). The correct format should be: A heading - brief &
informative description followed by credits.

- Please
enclose a Screenshot
- JPG or GIF Format (not BMP). (where applicable)
- Please
include your real name & valid email with all uploads. If
you do not want users to have access to these details please include
a Note to Webmaster & these can be removed or not included. We
ask this to avoid possible piracy issues...... No email
- no post.
- File
Names should be simple (e.g. 'usaf_f16b.zip') & consist only
of letters & numbers - No Spaces. Characters such as '::'
or '~' & spaces are counted as invalid by our server & the
upload will be corrupt.
- Please
ensure you have permission if you are using Aircraft, Panels,
etc from original designers. Most freeware designers are very pleasant
people & will have little problem with this. But do ask!
- Ensure
original creators are properly credited in your description. Files
where creators have been stripped from the files or documents are
pirate files & will not be published.
- We
do not accept files where users need additional files from other websites.
This is simply because exterior links are beyond our control &
may change - rendering the file useless. A reliable site needs reliable
files. We do NOT publish commercial repaints.
- We
have a 30Mb limit
on http upload file size for security reasons - if your files are
over this limit please contact
webmaster for an alternative location..
- New
developers : Please get someone to check out your file before uploading!
Better to hear of any missed problem from a friend before 100's or
1000's of users have experienced it.
- EXE
& PHP files are not accepted on this server. Uploading these
files will result in rejection & your computer's IP number being
recorded & sent to the Administrator. Please zip all 'exe' files
prior to upload.
- Please
do not use UPPERCASE CHARACTERS in your description. These waste
valuable time as they have to be edited.
- Designers
can check d/l numbers in the stats
