I can remember as a kid back in the 60's watching him on some of those tours entertaining troops and making those rough times a little bit more enjoyable in those days of "Conflict". Bob also did more than his part to bring smiles & laughs to a time that the world was making drastic changes for both better and worse, he made things a little easier to cope with.
