FS2002 Douglas DC-3 Viewmaster, South Pacific Airlines of New Zealand (SPANZ) ZK-BYD South Pacific Airlines of New Zealand (SPANZ) operated from December 1960 to February 1966, providing services on a range of routes nationwide. Formed by two ex-NAC Captains, the airline operated three of its own aircraft, of which ZK-BYD 'Ernest Rutherford' (c/n 13906) was one. Based on Jan Visser's legendary DC-3 model for FS2000, updated for FS2002, this model includes transparent Viewmaster windows, nightlighting, lit 3D interior with opening passenger door, boarding ladder and other details. FS2002 Douglas DC-3 New zealand National Airways Corporation ZK-AWP The DC-3 ZK-AWP served with New Zealand National Airways Corporation from July 1952, and was one of the last DC-3s retired from their fleet. Initially operated as 'Powhaitere', the aircraft was named 'Kaitaia' after conversion to 'Skyliner' status in May 1963. She has more recently been fully restored in these colours.
