FS2000 - CFS1 FW190a in factory colors for use in FS2000. This is a repaint of the default CFS1 FW190a aircraft painted in Aluminum textures and grey primer as delivered from the factory prior to having camouflage applied to the aircraft by each individual Luftwaffe unit. FS2000 Cessna C-177RG Cardinal. Originally designated the 172J, the 177 has an unbraced cantilever monoplane wing that makes it easy to identify from its siblings. Its sleek airframe and 180 hp-200 hp Lycoming engine makes it fairly fast and it is a perfect plane for cross country flying. This is the retractable gear version and it is designated 177 RG. Cardinals were made until 1978. This FSDS design includes full moving parts, virtual cockpit, transparent canopy with glass reflections and an instrument panel with 360 degree cockpit bitmaps. Start with a factory built Pitts S2S, add stronger wings, build a larger, more powerful motor, add an oversized, custom propeller, increase the sizes of all the control surfaces, reshape the tail, strengthen the fuselage, and re-design the fuel and oil systems and you have what Jim calls the "Bulldog" Pitts S2S. FS2000 Beechcraft D-18 is truly a workhorse of the skies. Being produced from the late 30's to the late 60's, it has proven itself in its many roles This particular paint scheme is modeled after a Beech the company I flew for had. It is a freighter version and has had many mods applied to it. I was able to duplicate some of them, but I can't make the nose longer! The original had a longer, sleeker nose which really made her look good. In addition to that, some windows were removed and a crew excape hatch was installed on the port side of the plane. All uneccesary items were removed from her as well as the soundproofing. She was loud inside! To the best of my knowledge the aircraft is still around, but I do not know what condition she is in.
