Scenery Design – Hot Air Balloons, a Rwy12 Object Placer
Library
The collection is for users of Rwy12 Object Placer only.
The library includes 22 hot air balloons. All balloons are
3D and done in gmax with a low polygon count for better
frame rate. The balloons are static and you can place them
anywhere in your scenery (don't forget to adjust elevation).
Flying by the balloons will give you a sense of movement.
The textures are made from photos of real hot air balloons
as seen on the internet. By Seev Kahn - Rwy12 team. 1.8MB |

Scenery Design Towers and Beacons Placement.
This package allows the user to place towers of 3 different
sizes, with or without beacons and strobes, anywhere. One
tower is high-resolution and the other two are low-poly,
frame-rate-friendly, all very superior to the default FS
airport beacon towers. The format is XML, to be compiled
with bglcomp.exe. All you need are the coordinates for where
you want to place your tower. Done by Newton Drumond and

Library Object Manager/Scenery Maker. Library Object
Manager is a utility to manage your collection of library
objects. It can import information from a number of sources
including library files, SBuilder, Rwy12 and EZ-Scenery.
It can export information about objects to SBuilder, EZ-Scenery,
Rwy12 and other scenery design programs. You can catalog
objects by libary, user defined category and author. If
you have a lot of objects then LOM makes using them in your
scenery much easier. Scenery Maker is part of LOM and tightly
integrated with it. Scenery Maker is a placement program
and uses your flightsim aircraft position to place objects.
The placement tools are very accurate and include helpers
which let you move your aircraft to an object position or
place your aircraft over an object and find it in your scenery
file. There are also tools to 'nudge' objects in all three
dimensions by as little as 1 inch. It can place library
objects, rotating beacons, windsocks which react to wind
speed and direction, effects, and triggers for fuel and
weather. In addition to these simple objects Scenery Maker
has powerful tools to create compound objects which would
be difficult to create by hand. Works only with FS2004 objects
and Simulator. Requires Microsoft dotNET
Framework Version 2 and bglxml (above). By Jon Masterson.

on touch down keep a good nose up angle to keep from flipping
the craft over on the nose. This is just a simple hand painted
model that can be edited anyway you would like. A 100X100
head shot pasted over my face on the texture will allow
you to customize the Poly fairly simply. Ive included an
unconverted Texture file to aid this process. All you need
then is DXTbmp. or some similar program to convert the texture
to a DXT3 to personalise your Spectator. Then place your
edited texture in the texture folder of the Spectator_Poly
file.By Greg Ebnit. 1.9MB |

Autotrees Beta v0.1
- a programme to "plant" autogen trees in FS2004
(FS9). Autotrees was written to automatically write any
number of autogen files. It will only produce files containing
trees, and I can't see a way to produce buildings the same
way. It was written using UK VFR Photographic Scenery as
a testbed, but should work with any photoreal ground textures.
The accuracy of the output is extremely dependant on the
quality of the texture files used. The included jpegs are
all "untouched" taken after a couple of seconds
running Autotrees. Autotrees can produce over 120 files
per minute on an AMD 2.0 Ghz computer. Thats over a million
trees an hour; how's that for global offsetting!By David
