Maskrider GSL Dobodura Pack:
This pack contains 11 of the 14 airstrips that were located on the
grassy flatlands inland from the coastal village of Buna. Buna, located
on the north coast of Papua New Guinea proper, approximately 15 miles
NW of the provincial capital of Moro Bay, was the beginning and the
end of the Japanese push over the Owen Stanley’s, along the Kokoda
Track, to Port Moresby. At the end of the Kokoda Campaign, the flat
often swampy plains inland from Buna were quickly developed into one
of the larger airfield complexes of the war. Used both as a major
transit as well as staging area- the Dobodura complex of airfields
was the mainstay of the Allied aerial campaign against New Britain
and Rabaul. The airstrips acquired names depending upon their proximity
to villages scattered around the plains: Girua, Embi, Borio, Horanda,
Popondetta, Soputa and of course Dobodura where a pre-war airstrip,
Raways Strip, was already located. By Chris Westervelt. 1.4MB |

Spanish terrain - for Spanish Civil War campaigns.
CFS2 stock scenery for Spain is not very good, so I put together a
package that I think is a more realistic representation of Spain's
terrain. It's certainly better than what the stock terrain is like.
I did not make any of these scenery tiles. It is a mixture of selected
files from Stiz's European scenery textures and Richard Ludowise's
CFS2 Fall scenery textures - used with the original artists' permission.
To install, just copy and paste the contents of this folder into your
CFS2/SCENEDB/world/texture folder. Captain Kurt. Filename: Spain_Terrain.zip |

Shadow Bases Scenery and Missions:
My first attempt at scenery creating: These are all purely fictional
bases. The North Base complex is an airbase with a nearby oil drilling
and shipping facility, located on the northern coast of New Guinea
between Hollandia and Wewak. Long island is a "dormant" volcano, halfway
between Alexishafen and Cape Gloucester. It has a standard airbase
on coast with a seaplane base on the lake in the volcano crater. All
airfields have refuel and are lighted at night. I haven't learned
the GSL scenery techniques yet so the scenery objects on the bases
(hangars, trees etc) are not "interactive" ie: you can't destroy them
and they won't cause collisions. Included are replacements for 2 of
my missions, without the Mission Builder infrastructure objects I
originally used for making these bases: . Greg Baskin. 243K |

Shadow Bases GSL Scenery and Missions:
These are GSL style bases to replace those in the previous Shadow
Bases scenery pack and adding an additional 2 bases in southeastern
Philippines. Again, they are all purely fictional bases. The North
Base complex is a large airbase with a nearby oil drilling and shipping
facility, located on the northern coast of New Guinea. Long island,
a "dormant" volcano, halfway between Alexishafen and Cape Gloucester
has an airbase on coast with a seaplane base on the lake in the volcano
crater. Mindanao Northwest is a standard airbase with a nearby seaplane
base on a lake and does not conflict with existing Maskrider PI bases.
All airfields have refuel and are lighted at night. The scenery objects
on the bases - hangars, fuel tanks, trees etc - are "interactive"
ie: you can destroy them and collide with them. Greg (Shadow_Wolf_07)
