The SZD Foka ("Seal") is a family of high-performance Standard Class sailplanes designed at the Polish Experimental Glider Works (SZD) in the 1960s by W?adys?aw Okarmus and Piotr Mynarski. These gliders were single-seaters of wooden construction with laminate components. The main difference between the Foka C and Foka 5 gliders lies in the horizontal tail unit: a conventional cruciform arrangement for the Foka C, and a T-tail with an all-moving stabilizer for the Foka 5.
